National park Slovak Paradise is one of 11 national parks in Slovakia. It has area of 197.63 km², together with protection zone 327.74 km². 11 national natural reservations, 8 natural reservations and 350 caves are located here.  It offers around 300 km of hiking trails, often equipped with ladders, chains and bridges.

Slovak Paradise is one of Slovakia's most beautiful regions. Many gorges, streams, waterfalls and karstic formations are located here. Approximately 90% of the area is covered by forest.
